This beautiful handmade wall clock is a tribute to the ancient American Indians the first forefathers of the Americas. The first cultivators of this great nation, the people of the land who had a high system of order, respect for their elders and strong religious beliefs. Surrounded by natural resources like gold but not once lusted after it, surprisingly though before the Spaniards invaded the Americas there were no horses on the land. Despite the heavy losses the Indians faced due to mostly disease brought by the European brethren the only positive thing the Spaniards brought to the nation were horses which the Indians adopted very quickly. No longer did they have to hunt on foot giving them a slightly better chance on counter attacking their foes.

Camphor Laurel yields a beautiful, rich honey coloured timber with a clean, fresh camphor smell that is perfect for clocks, furniture, carving and cabinetry. The tree is native to Taiwan, southern Japan, southeast China and Indochina. All camphor laurel wood features the characteristic camphor smell that repels moths and other insects, Camphor laurel also has antibacterial properties.
