I’ll have to look at these vids later. What I really need though, is some instruction that is specific to bungee or spring pole (reciprocating) lathes.
Having only seen it in action I know one has to make a stabbing action into work on every clockwise turn of the stock. I know the foot powered lathe is a unique beast to the powered lathe. It means you must sharpen all your tools like you would a plane or chisel iron. According to Bob Rozaieski sanding on it is out of the question. I think Bob would be a great candidate to answer your question Matt.
